Description
Driving through the village of St. Martins, N.B. this afternoon, I saw two large raptors sitting in a dead tree, and when I stopped to photograph them, realized they were peregrine falcons. They were nearly wiped out by DDT back in the day but have made a comeback around the Bay of Fundy. They must nest in the area, as they have been seen in the area before, but it's been years since I've seen them...so a very cool day!!
